We believe in the importance of centering, building with, and nourishing young Black people in the inter-generational struggle for Black Liberation. We see our work as youth-focused, and prioritize embodying that politic in our organizational structure and culture. Assata’s Daughters is led by Black self-identifying women and gender-nonbinary people, including who sits on our board, who leads our staff circle, and whom we seek to place in leadership within the organization.

Our Application Process
You can apply to any open position via this form. The form asks you to upload your resume and conduct a video cover letter.
After the priority deadline, the staff circle will review, and offer invitations to interview. After the staff interview, those who proceed will interview with some of our youth members.
